Refund Policy

  1. For refunds on service-based applications, the consumed service fees will be calculated based on the discounted rate corresponding to the consumed service hours. For clarity, here is an example: If customer A (Party B) signs up for a service with Party A (Hanlin International Education) at a rate of 100 RMB/hour, and purchases up to 30 hours at full price, 31-60 hours at a 5% discount, and 61-90 hours at a 10% discount. Customer A purchased 100 hours and thus paid a discounted rate of 90% (i.e., 1001000.9=9000 RMB). If Customer A terminates the contract after 50 hours, the consumed service hours will be charged at the 5% discount rate for 50 hours. The refund calculation would be: 9000 - 100500.95 = 4250 RMB. And so on.
  2. Unless specifically stated otherwise, full refunds or course transfers can be requested up to three days before a class starts. After attending two sessions, the remaining sessions can be refunded. No refunds will be given after attending three sessions, but course transfers are allowed.
  3. For custom classes (scheduled based on the specific timing requirements of students or parents), no refunds will be given once the class has started.
  4. For projects organized by Hanlin that involve team competitions, once teams are formed, each member must overcome any difficulties and complete the assigned tasks and courses. No refunds will be given after the first session for any reason.
  5. If the regular group service registered by Party B does not meet the minimum required number of participants and cannot commence, Party A shall refund all fees paid by Party B.
  6. If Party B requests to terminate the service early due to personal reasons during the service period, the refund will be handled as follows:
  7. The remaining balance corresponding to the unconsumed service hours will be refunded according to the terms of this agreement. Consumed service fees will not be refunded.
  8. When processing a refund, any costs for materials provided to Party B, fees already transferred to third parties that cannot be recovered, and reasonable transaction fees paid to banks or other third parties will be borne by Party B.
  9. For non-custom services with three or more participants: After the second session and before the third session, course transfers or refunds for the remaining sessions can be requested. No refunds will be provided after the third session starts.
  10. Once custom services begin, Party B cannot withdraw. If Party B insists on withdrawing, the service fees already paid will not be refunded.
  11. For team competitions, no refunds or withdrawals are allowed once the service begins. If Party B unilaterally withdraws or shows a negative attitude towards the competition, causing other team members to lose opportunities or suffer other losses, Party B will bear all the consequences. If Party B's unilateral withdrawal causes losses to Party A, Party A has the right to claim compensation from Party B.
