Hanlin International Education Mall Usage Agreement

Dear Students and Parents,

Hello, and welcome to purchasing academic tutoring services from Hanlin International Education. To further enhance the efficiency and quality of our services, we would like to inform students and parents of the following service details:

Hanlin International Education New Student Service Process

  1. Contact Customer Service: Reach out to the relevant customer service representative to confirm the content of your consultation. Hanlin International Education currently has two customer service representatives:

Xiaolin (WeChat ID: linstitute2) is responsible for international courses and standardized test services. Customer service phone: 021-63526630.

Dalin (WeChat ID: linstitute1) is responsible for international academic activities and summer school services. Customer service phone: 021-63526628.

  1. Tutor Consultation: After clarifying the consultation content, the customer service representative will directly connect you with our business supervisor or course tutor. This connection is typically made via WeChat group or phone call. Students and parents can directly consult on specific business content, avoiding unnecessary intermediate steps caused by unfamiliar sales tactics.
  2. Payment and Scheduling: After confirming the course requirements, students/parents can choose to pay directly for scheduling or pay for a single trial lesson and decide whether to schedule the course afterward. Hanlin International Education’s course projects start with a minimum of 5 lessons. We accept payments via Alipay, WeChat, bank transfers, and all foreign currency credit cards.

Hanlin International Education’s only official finance WeChat is: linstitute3.

Hanlin International Education Detailed Payment Process

If any Hanlin International Education employee collects payments privately, please report it to the management email: hi@linstitute.net. When making a payment, please note the student's name and course type, for example, "Jerry-5 AMC12 lesson fees." After completing the payment, please confirm receipt with the academic manager.

  1. Course Types:
  • One-on-One: Course time and syllabus can be tailored to the student’s personal schedule, and the syllabus will be adjusted according to the student’s progress, truly achieving personalized and customized education.
  • Small Group Classes: Course time needs to be determined by considering the schedules of all students and the tutor. The syllabus will be adjusted according to the progress of all students. After paying the lesson fees, the academic manager will start scheduling the course. We will complete the class formation in about 2 working days. For larger classes (more than 5 students) or non-popular courses (such as most academic activity training courses), the scheduling time may be extended appropriately.
  1. Rescheduling: If students or parents need to reschedule, please apply to the academic manager at least 24 hours in advance. The academic manager will arrange adjustments based on the actual situation. Within 24 hours before the class starts, rescheduling requests will not be accepted, and missed class time will be forfeited by half.
  2. Post-Class Feedback: Students and parents using the academic system can log into the Hanlin student academic system on the same day after the class to view feedback from that class. Any suggestions and opinions on the tutor’s teaching can be promptly fed back through the information system.
  3. Urgent Scheduling: In special circumstances, if students and parents need urgent scheduling, the academic manager will coordinate as much as possible but cannot guarantee 100% adherence to the student’s wishes. For urgent situations, we recommend directly contacting us by phone. Contact number: 021-63526630.
  4. Invoice Issuance: Invoices can only be issued after all services are completed, and a receipt (if any) is required for invoice issuance. No refund requests will be accepted after non-conservatory courses end. For consultation services, if a refund is requested after the invoice is issued, the original invoice amount must be returned. The invoice amount will be based on the actual amount received, and some online payment channels may incur a small channel cost.
  5. Remaining Lesson Hours: If there are more than five remaining lessons (10 hours), you can apply to transfer them to other courses or consultation services. If there are fewer than five lessons remaining, you can apply for a refund.
  6. Makeup Lessons: For one-on-one courses, if the student leaves early for any reason and the remaining time exceeds half an hour (less than half an hour will not be made up), a half-hour course can be made up. The makeup course time must accumulate to 2 hours, and Hanlin International Education will arrange a separate course for the student. For one-to-many courses, if a student is absent or leaves early for any reason, no makeup lessons will be provided.

Hanlin International Education Returning Students

  1. Course Renewal: To ensure the effectiveness and continuity of learning, the academic manager will remind students and parents to renew their courses when there are fewer than 4 lessons remaining. The renewal steps are the same as above.
  2. Student Discounts: Hanlin International Education will provide some benefits to returning customers, such as free course coupons, internal exam preparation materials, etc. All discounts for returning students are non-transferable and non-resalable.

Trial Lesson Notice

  1. Each student has only one trial lesson opportunity. During peak seasons or when tutor occupancy is high, trial lessons may not be available. We appreciate your understanding.
  2. We strongly recommend that students provide the following materials before the trial lesson to facilitate more efficient and targeted lesson preparation by the tutor:
  • Course textbooks (cover photo or chapter photos)
  • Incorrect answers from regular homework
  • Mock exam questions from academic activities
  • Recent international course exam papers

Use and Download of Materials
Course materials, question banks, and academic activity materials are the major distinguishing features of Hanlin International Education compared to most educational institutions. Some materials are original compilations, and some are exclusively produced. Some materials require sharing before downloading; please follow the website prompts and contact the assistant. Hanlin International Education VIP students can directly request any materials published on the entire site from the academic manager. We encourage students to use public materials properly and suggest downloading only what is needed. Malicious downloading or commercial use of materials is strictly prohibited.

Academic Activity Registration
Hanlin International Education provides training and tutoring for more than 50 large international academic activities. These international competitions are held by non-profit organizations or institutions (such as ASDAN). We only recommend students participate in competitions that have substantial benefits for their applications. We do not cooperate with any type of commercial competition (such as those actually held by "certain education companies"). Some competitions require students to register themselves due to the organizer's restrictions. Registration services are prioritized for returning students. New students are welcome to contact the assistant. Many international competitions are highly competitive and have limited spots. We appreciate your understanding.

Use of the Classroom
Hanlin International Education’s Donghai Plaza campus is located in the Jing’an Temple business district, with convenient transportation. The campus is equipped with multiple access control systems. Ordinary students need to contact the academic manager to swipe the card to enter during class hours. Only VIP students are issued access cards. Please do not make noise in public areas (cafeteria, refrigerator, rest area, etc.). After using any office or consultation room, please tidy up your belongings and ensure nothing is left behind. Students are responsible for their personal belongings.
