OUR SCHOOL

For over 60 years, HanLin HongKong School has maintained a reputation for high academic achievement. Though each of our four schools features its own personality and cognitive-level program, we continue to operate as one cohesive family – showcased throughout the school year by several whole-academy activities that brings together students, family members, and staff from all of our programs. At SHA, students are able to develop from age 2 to college-ready young adults.

Another major aspect of HanLin HongKong School that bonds all four schools together is our overall philosophy. We focus on guiding and supporting students in their academic, social, and character growth. And we do this primarily with our cross-curricular, project-based approach that aims for maximum student (and staff) engagement so that students “learn by doing.”

My name is Michelle Clayton and I am the Preschool Director at HanLin HongKong School

I have been in the childcare field for over 40 years and a Director for the past 30 years. Blessed is the word I use to describe how I feel about my job. I find working with children to be rewarding, fun, and exciting. I just celebrated my third year at SHA and I love it!

Ms. Geri Oka

Her passion to empower others goes without saying. Staff admires her and students adore her. She is successful because of her active listening skills and commitment to achieving performance outcomes through clear communication. It is no wonder her number one priority is cultivating leaders from our students and teachers!

Middle & High School Principal
Mrs. Sandy Tuitoelau

Mrs. Tuitoelau is responsible for overseeing the academic and overall development of students in grades 6-12. With a wealth of experience, she plays a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of students and maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment.
